Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL)
REEEA-Alliance will incorporate relevant M&E tools including the Results Based Framework (RBF), Theory of Change (ToC), LogFrame, Participatory Monitoring and Evaluation System (PM&E), and Continuous Monitoring and Evaluation System (CM&E) to track and monitor each project or program that it undertakes in order to ensure full compliance with grant agreements and REEEA-Alliance standing policies and procedures in attaining targeted objectives. The application of each tool or a mixture of the tools depends on its effectiveness and efficiency for the project or program.
The Board of Trustees/Steering Committee which provides strategic guidance for all REEEA-Alliance activities will meet twice a year to monitor progress towards detailed program objectives and approves plan activities and budgets. The REEEA-Alliance general assembly will meet biennially to review activities of the Alliance and prioritize programs base on perceive needs of Nigerians and RE & EE stakeholders. For review of financial statements and expenditures, the Alliance will engage an accredited audit firm to conduct its annual audit in accordance to International Standard of Auditing.
