The Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Associations-Alliance organized a 2-day workshop on RE & EE with the theme “Business Model and Climate Financing in the RE & EE Sectors”.
The Workshop was organized to create awareness amongst members of the associations within the Alliance, MDAs and RE & EE companies. The 2-day event took place 21st and 22nd June 2021.

The Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Associations (REEEA)-Alliance as part of its objective in creating synergies with relevant stakeholders paid a courtesy visit to the Federal Ministry of Environment on the 10th of June 2021. The Alliance team led by the Chairman Board of Trustees, Professor Abubakar Sani Sambo and the Chairman Steering Committee, Dr Imamuddeen Talba, met with the Honorable Minister, Dr Mohammed Mahmood Abubakar.
The Honorable Minister stated that he is willing to collaborate with the Alliance and that the relationship between the Ministry and the Alliance is important in order to succeed in achieving the transition to clean energy in Nigeria.

As part of its objectives on creating synergies with relevant stakeholders , the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Associations (REEEA)-Alliance paid a courtesy visit to the Energy Commission of Nigeria(ECN) on the 20th of May 2021 and were hosted by the DG CEO Professor Eli J Bala. The Commission stated that it would deploy all necessary structures to collaborate with the Alliance to achieve its aims and objectives.

The Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Associations(REEEA)-Alliance paid a courtesy visit to the Rural Electrification Agency(REA) on the 21st of April 2021 and were hosted by the Executive Director Technical Services Engr. Barka Sajou. The REEEA Alliance team was led by the Chairman Steering Committee, Dr. Imamuddeen Talba and other team members which comprised of the Vice Chairman Professor Magnus Onuoha, Dr. Aminu Haruna Isa, Ms Nnenna Ebem(Secretary) and Mrs Kemi Oyelola(Coordination Desk Officer). Other members of the REA team included Executive Director Corporate Services Chief Olaniyi Netufo; Special Assistant to the Executive Director Technical Services Osayu Ogboghodo; Technical Assistant to the Executive Director Technical Services Audi Anwe;Technical Assistant to the Managing Director, Hajia Nabila Maida;Technical Assistant to the Executive Director on Environment, Mohammed Bello;Assistant Director, Information & Outreach Ahmed Yahaya Hassan. The courtesy visit by the Alliance was to thank the Agency for their support and to deliberate on areas of collaboration and partnership between the two organizations.
